Meet the Therapists
Jill Hebert, LPC

Hi I’m Jill! I’ve been practicing as a mental health counselor in the south Louisiana area since 2021. I’ve really enjoyed serving the community and as someone who has personally struggled with mental health, I see it as a privilege to be able to continue to serve those who have also struggled. I received my bachelors in psychology from Nicholls state in 2018 and received my masters in mental health counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2021. When I’m not working, I enjoy crafting, finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors and mostly spending time with loved ones.
“I take a collaborative approach to counseling where I believe that you are your own expert and play a crucial role in working towards your goals. Counseling is great for changing our patterns that no longer serve us, unpacking difficult emotions, or for just talking things through. I’d be glad to take that first step with you.”
Lacey Trahan-Moate, P-LPC

Lacey graduated from Nicholls State with her master’s degree in 2026 and is currently a provisionally licensed professional counselor.
“I believe many of us find ourselves carrying messages about who we are supposed to be, messages shaped by family, relationships, culture, and past experiences. Over time, those messages can leave us feeling disconnected or stuck. I see therapy as a space to slow down, become more aware of what is happening beneath the surface, and reclaim the privilege of becoming who you truly are.”
